I’ve got the itch

crocheted scarf

It’s that time of year again! And I’ve got the itch….. the crafting/baking itch that is. For some reason, when the hottest part of the summer is finally over, it seems to signal that it’s time to bring out the crafts again. I did a couple little things this summer, like making yarn letters for Mr. Blue Eyes. Now that it’s getting cooler, thoughts have turned to scarves, and blankets. Of baking treats and the smells of pine. It’s time to bring the outdoors in and as it cools I’m sure I’m not the only one with hand made crafts planned.

What are your favorite fall crafts and baking to do? What’s on your too do list this fall?

About Military Bride

Military Bride is my view of the world from a veteran, spouse, and mommy perspective. I’m sure it’s going to be a bumpy ride, but I don’t mind sharing triumphs and tears with you. I joined the Military at the age of 21, and met my husband not to long after. We’ve been married a little over 3 years, and have a beautiful baby boy. My life has already gone through drastic changes, from getting out of the military, to becoming a mommy and going back to school. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you.

  1. Me too 🙂 My first job is to have a clear out and tidy/ clean after the Summer holidays when I let it slide and entertained the kids. I want to make a fall wreath for my door, I have some less glam tasks lined up like recovering some of the cat tree so it does not look so shabby and weeding the driveway. Tonight I am decopatching some coasters I noticed had lost all their finish and I am thinking about scrap booking and christmas card making smiles, it a fun time of year.
